The Irish Boutique/ Paddy’s on the Square, a beloved destination for all things Irish, proudly announces its momentous milestone: 50 years of bringing Irish charm and tradition to the heart of Long Grove, Illinois. To commemorate this extraordinary achievement, the store has planned a fun afternoon filled with entertainment on Saturday, July 15th from 3-5pm.
Since its humble beginnings in 1973 when Paddy and Linda opened the doors, The Irish Boutique has been an oasis of Irish culture. As a family-owned establishment, the boutique has remained dedicated to preserving and sharing Ireland’s rich heritage with the local community. It has continued to stay a family affair with son John leading the Long Grove, IL store and son Paul recently opening a location in Cedarburg WI.
Over time the product mix in the store has evolved to include Irish woolens, Waterford crystal, Irish CDs, Irish jewelry and now a heavy focus on Irish groceries and foods but the one constant is that everyone that visits the store feels like they are visiting a little piece of Ireland, almost as if they have been transported to the Emerald Isle.
The store has become a gathering place for Irish expats, those with Irish heritage and those who love all things Ireland.
The 50th anniversary celebration promises to be a tribute to the store’s unwavering commitment to quality, authenticity, and customer satisfaction. Here are some highlights of the upcoming festivities:

2. Cultural Performances: Davey Arwine, former frontman for the popular Irish band Donnybrook will perform, The McNulty Irish Dancers will make an appearance, a Shannon Rover Bagpiper and more!
