Cocoa Crawl: February 11
Dozens of Long Grove merchants team up to create this fun-filled, family-family day where people of all ages can shop, dine, and make memories over hot cups of cocoa. Multiple stops throughout town include yummy cocoa-infused treats to warm the heart, soul, and belly!
Egg Hunt: April 8
Children are invited to bring their baskets and compete in Long Grove’s annual egg hunt challenge. Big Bunny presides over the activities, which typically include music, crafts, and much more.
Craft Beer Fest: April 29
Historic Downtown Long Grove transforms into the suburb’s biggest outdoor beer garden for Craft Beer Festival. Ticketed attendees get unlimited tastes of dozens of the best local beers while live music and good eats round out this day dedicated to the art of craft brewing.
Chocolate Fest: May 19, 20, 21
Long Grove’s first major festival of the year brings in tens of thousands for three days of family entertainment and chocolate inspired eats and drinks. In addition to music on multiple stages, dozens of local vendors at Chocolate Fest will make you go cuckoo for cocoa!
Strawberry Fest: June 23, 24, 25
Although the annual homage to the sweetest fruit might feature strawberry-centric foods and drinks galore, in no way is an exclusive strawberry party. There’s live music, the classic Kid Zone, and carnival rides guaranteed to bring out the sweeter side of everyone!
Vintage Days: July 29, 30
The annual celebration of all things vintage, reclaimed, antique, and repurposed caps off summer in Long Grove. This open-air marketplace of vintage collectables also features cold beer, live music, and an array of throwback fun for the young and young at heart.
Irish Days: September 2, 3, 4
Long Grove pays homage to the Emerald Isle on Labor Day weekend! All eyes are smiling when the historic district presents the annual Irish Days, a family-friendly celebration of Irish culture, music, food, games and contests!
Apple Fest: September 22, 23, 24
The festival said to bring “bushels of fun” to the charming Long Gove village will return for delicious apple-inspired treats for apple lovers. From pop-up apple orchards and apple vendors to party bands and timeless interactive games, Apple Fest has it all.
October Days: October
Historic Long Grove morphs into Halloween Town for a month straight during its annual October Days campaign. From Scarecrow Day to Witches Night Out to the Pet Costume Parade and more, there’s always something thrilling happening during October Days!
